Philippine Elections, Blogging, Partisanship

Whatever You Do, Don't Click Here
Before you know it, it will be May 2010. Yes, it's the Philippine Presidential Elections. Some people are trying to help educate voters by presenting more info about the various candidates.

Some Filipino bloggers are keeping an eye out, and are trying to objectively present their information. In fact, one of them brands their online watch as non-partisan.

I dunno... Perhaps the display of various duet-photos (each presidential candidate + one blogger) is meant to show some kind of fairness or balance in providing exposure to each candidate.

Here's my question, though: If you're not willing to reveal online who your presidential candidate is (because your election monitoring group is non-partisan), then why even publish a short-list of 3 candidates?

Clearly, something doesn't add up.

Kulang talaga sa credibilidad.

But you already knew that, right? ;-)
